Check out the images from the indie horror movie Below Zero. Looking at the images and trailer below helped me warm up from this cold Tennessee night.
The story is said to be "based on true events," but this is not what you are thinking. The story being told is not a real story at all, while I guess it is technically. Rather, the screenwriter put herself into the same situation the movie's protagonist finds himself in and wrote the movie.
The film is directed by Justin Thomas Ostensen, stars Edward Furlong (T2, Night of the Demons, The Crow: Wicked Prayer) and genre vet Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes, The Lords of Salem) along with Kristin Booth (The Kennedys).

Many of you have been asking when Juan of the Dead would make it to the US and today we have an answer for you. Outsider Pictures today announced the acquisition of the international hit Juan of The Dead, from Guadalajara-based international film sales and distribution company Latinofusion, for US theatrical distribution in the United States.
Juan of the Dead is directed by Alejandro Brugués (Fabula), and stars Andrea Duro (Ghost Graduation), Jorge Molina and Luis Alberto Garcia (Love by Mistake).
Unless you have been hiding under a rock you know that The Woman in Black will be in theaters on February 3, 2012. Don't worry if you have not seen enough clips or posters for the movie we have a few more for you to delve into. First up is a UK TV spot for The Woman in Black followed by a poster that is a clear homage to Hammer and a International poster.
The Woman in Black is directed by James Walkins and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Ciarán Hinds, Janet McTeer, Liz White, Alisa Khazanova, Tim McMullan, Roger Allam, and Daniel Cerqueira.
The Pack aka La meute is a French survival horror and has mutant zombie creatures to keep the action fresh and makes it a creature feature.
Franck Richard is both the writer and director for The Pack and stars Yolande Moreau, Émilie Dequenne and Benjamin Biolay.
The Pack will be available on DVD and VOD March 6, 2012 through Indomina Releasing.

The Wicker Tree opens in theaters nationwide today, too bad it's not showing in Atlanta, maybe you will have more luck on having a theater near you. We have listed all the theaters below. Robin Hardy directs The Wicker Tree and stars Christopher Lee, Graham McTavish and Honeysuckle Weeks.
The Wicker Tree is a follow-up to the original 1973 horror film The Wicker Man. The Wicker Tree is based on Robin Hardy's novel Cowboys for Christ and is not a remake or a sequel to The Wicker Man. The film will follow some of the same themes and concepts and should be considered more of a companion piece.
