Who says its weird to cry at the end of Devils Rejects? I think thats why he chose "Freebird", personally.

It was a great way to end the movie with "Freebird", and that was the first time you could actually feel for a group of sociopaths. So, while some may find it weird I think it is great, because Rob Zombie achieved his goal if he could elicit that sort of reaction from the audience

I love Devil's Rejects...and although I don't cry at the end...I sure as hell wish they got away. Great ending though, the song kicks ass...perfect for the scene.

Um, I was just reading the comments above. I'll need to watch the movie again, but I think the song at the end is Midnight Rider by the Allman Brothers.
