The remake of a nightmare on elm street (2010)
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET series 1984 - 2003
Wes craven makes a classic slasher flick that brings somthing new to the table. we have all seen michael myers and jason voorhees go along silent and being brutal killers but thats when your awake. a nightmare on elm street on the other hand takes place in your dreams by a talking faced character without a hockey mask over his head or a white william shatner mask. freddy krueger was played by Robert englund who is very famous for his freddy krueger probably because no one else played it. he even played him in freddy vs jason in 2003. no one will do a better job then him.

Michael bay has helped remake the texas chainsaw massacre and friday the 13th. both of those remakes were decent but no comparison to the originals. but now they decided to remake a nightmare on elm street. The trailer for the new film is up and i have to say im very dissapointed. everything looked decent until the end of the trailer when you hear freddy speak and u see his face. robert englund will not be playing as freddy in this film which we all know now that means its going to suck the gooch hair off of michael bays sack. now when i see it ill give it a chance until i have fully seen the movie. but alot of movie reviewers on youtube thinks its going to suck especially ramboraph who is crazy with a nightmare on elm street francise and is even thinking about not even seeing it or including it in the francise. now ill give it a chance but they didnt even come up with new creative death scenes. u can see all the ones from the first movie in that trailer pretty well. Like get your own ideas for kills god! u got new creative kills for the friday the 13th remake but now u get a dream sequence with more possibilities and u dont make anything original!?!?!? so people tell me your thoughts on the trailer please, im losing it here because that guy who plays freddy is so bad that i want to die seriously.

- i completely disagree. to say that its going to suck because robert englund isn't in it is just ridiculous. jackie earle haley is just as good an actor as englund, if not, better. i'm a huge freddy fan. a huge FREDDY fan. i know going into this that we're not going to see haley playing englund playing freddy. but it doesn't matter. as a true freddy fan, i owe it to freddy to watch the remake. i will always be a fan of englund, but theres one thing everyone has to understand. englund was freddy. freddy wasn't englund. i'm going to see the movie, because as a freddy fan, i just might like it. it couldn't possibly be worse than 2 & 5. (c'mon, we're allll thinking it.)
