Events
This is a very cool event put on by the guys at Exhumed Films. The films kick off @ noon on Saturday and end @ noon on Sunday. The lineup is kept secret, but they have a fantastic library of horror films from the past 30 years, as well as a ton of vintage trailers.
There is also a horror-themed art show in the lobby.
I've personally attended many screenings by Exhumed Films and they never disappoint; these guys really know and love their horror and the fans are the greatest.
tickets are $24

Act like a zombie, watch zombies movies, play Resident Evil, attend a Zombie Walk. Just be sure to... brains...
So this is something I found on facebook, and I was like
"hell yeah! who doesn't want to act like a zombie?!?!" and
so I figured I'd spread the zombie joy...so go out there
and bite some people and turn them into zombies.....just
be careful where you are when you bite them because we
don't want anyone to get arrested, that would suck, and
spoil the awesomeness of Zombie day.

For those of you in NYC this weekend, THE FOLD will be screened in its entirety at MonkeyTown this Saturday night (December 20th) — we’ll be showing it at 11:50 PM.
FOLD creators MATT LAMBERT, RAY SAWHILL and POLLY FROST will be at the screening. Ray and Polly will be raffling 2 free copies of their brand new x-rated comic — and Hollywood set — audio entertainment, SEX SCENES.
NO COVER CHARGE for this screening. The info and directions and below. Before THE FOLD they’ll be showing short films starting at 10 PM.
We’re thrilled to be part of a week that MonkeyTown is presenting: films that combine eroticism and art (and in our case lots of comedy) — and includes a Terayama movie with Klaus Kinski in it, a Radley Metzger film that’ll be shown on multiple screens, plus European filmmakers Jennifer Lyon Bell and Emilie Jouvet.
This MonkeyTown event is a pick by Flavorpill.
MonkeyTown is located at 58 N 3rd St (btw. Kent & Wythe) in Williamsburg 11211

We are not like other boring horror conventions! We were the first to blend horror conventions with music. So while fans can meet their favorite horror film stars, directors, writers and bands during the day - at night we have well-known national bands performing each night next door at The Palladium...That's why this event is called Rock & Shock."
