David Gordon Green will directing and co-writing the remake Dario Argento's classic horror Susperia. Crime Scene Pictures partners Adam Ripp and Rob Paris are producing with Francesco Melzi d’Eril of Memo Films and Luca Guadagnino of First Sun. Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan, The Hunger Games) had been cast in the Suspiria remake along with Isabelle Huppert (The Piano Teacher, I Heart Huckabees), two-time Academy Award-nominee Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs; The Woman in Black), Michael Nyqvist (MI:4 Ghost Protocol; Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) and Antje Traue (Superman: Man of Steel).

The trailer for Anchor Bay's Australian shark film Bait 3D has finally been released. After the disappointing shark film of 2011 Shark Night 3D, and a surprisingly decent shark film Dark Tide, are horror fans in for a great shark film with Bait 3D? While the trailer does not look God awful, it does not blow my socks off either. Maybe we will be in for a nice VOD or Netflix film in the future.

There are some remarkably promising genre efforts crashing into the eye of the public this summer, and we’ve got a guide to the flicks that you absolutely must check out. Can we guarantee all of these productions will prove as rewarding as they now appear? Of course not, films underwhelm on a regular basis. But this specific guide is packed with flicks I’m supremely confident will captivate viewers; we’ve got some seriously auspicious looking features rolling out over the course of the next few months. I’ll now walk you through my personal must-see pics of the summer. If a few of these suggestions prove to be misfires, I apologize in advance. I’ve not (yet) been made privy to any early screeners for a single movie on this list, but given the concepts,

The official trailer for Dario Argento's Dracula 3D has finally been released. The film was shot entirely in stereoscopic 3D and is set to be released sometime in 2012. The trailer is not that impressive be any standard but I'm still looking forward to seeing this movie. The film is directed by Dario Argento (Suspiria, Opera) and stars Rutger Hauer, (Hobo with a Shotgun) Thomas Kretschmann (Resident Evil: Apocalypse) and Asia Argento (Land of the Dead).

I’ve probably said this (literally) 50 times, and I’m more than happy to say it again: If you haven’t seen the first few Cold Prey (Fritt Vilt) flicks, you’re missing something special. This young franchise equates to little more than a modern day Friday the 13th/Halloween hybrid, on ice. But the first two pictures are absolutely gorgeous, and shot with a refined hand and passion bestowed; it’s really an eye opening pair of flicks that may make you miss well assembled slasher pieces.

Today in horror movie news we have part 2 of the viral video Lovely Molly Demonic Forces. In case you missed part 1 we have included both of the videos right here. The film is directed by Eduardo Sanchez and was written by Jamie Nash and stars Gretchen Lodge, Johnny Lewis and Alexandra Holden.

Netflix seems to cycle their selections fairly frequently, and often with apparent inconsistent practice. You may spot Resident Evil available for three months, while Waxwork never seems to disappear. Unless you scour the site daily, you just never know what’s disappeared from availability and what’s been added to the mix. With that said, it’s safe to assume this is a piece I’ll likely need to update every month or so.
