Dark Tide has found distribution through Lionsgate.  The horror film will be available on March 8, 2012 via VOD and will make a limited theatrical release on March 30, 2012.  We found a couple of videos on Yoube for Dark Tide I'm not sure if they are official or not.  Either way I'm not impressed one bit.  Maybe after watching the last shark horror film Shark Night 3D I'm a bit worried about the shark horror film genre and were it is going.  If the movie sucks at least one good thing came out of this movie; rumors have it the Halle Berry got engaged to her co-star Olivier Martinez.

John Stockwell (Christine) directs Dark Tide written by Ronnie Christensen (Monster!) and stars Halle Berry (X-Men), Olivier Martinez (S.W.A.T.), Ralph Brown, Adi Shankar, Luke Stein, Mark Elderkin, Thoko Ntshinga and Sizwe Msutu.

In Dark Tide "Kate (Halle Berry), shark naturalist and documentarian, has been reluctant to re-enter the water since the tragic death of her mentor. Once renowned for swimming with Great White Sharks without the protection of a cage, Kate now spends her days giving mundane wildlife tours. However, the surprise arrival of her old partner and boyfriend, Jeff (Olivier Martinez), convinces her to face her inner demons and get back in the water with the fiercest of predators."
