Rotting Hill a zombie love story that is sure to delight many zombie fans. This short has some great CGI effects, plenty of blood, humor and is worth at least one viewing. The best part is you don't need to search all over the internet to find it, you can watch it here.
The live-action CGI short film was created by group of very talented students that attended Media Design School in Auckland, New Zealand. The short was part of the Media Design School's Graduate Diploma of Advanced 3D Productions Program. Rotting HIll was produced in 12 weeks with a lot of trail and error in the process and features 22 digital effects.
The students worked under the instruction of James Cunningham the director and the schools 3D instructor. He described the film in the schools blog post "Rotting Hill is the collision of two film genres. The zombie film and romance film,” Cunningham said “I think deep down, we all want to love and be loved. Zombies used to be humans too, so I guess the idea behind the film is why would these emotions go away just because you’re a reanimated corpse?”
I think they graduated and got A's.
