Thought i'd begin with a quote from one of the greats...anyway I'm Judge Reinhold...err, I mean, Attrage and I live in Australia which surprisingly, a lot of people still get confused with Austria. Anyway, while we do have some snowy mountains in Australia, we can't lay claim to being The Governator's home country. Anyone else here from the land downunder give me a shout coz with the time differences I find I'm often the only one online when I come here to spout drivel...I mean...post thoughtful and concise threads about all things horror-ific...in case you havent figured it out already, I'm also fond of making really bad jokes, and yes, I do laugh at my own humour a little too often.

I love Australia! Rick Springfield is from Sydney. Where are you from? I would love to visit. I have seen beautiful pictures of the Australia. I would love to chat with you if we are on here at the same time. Keep me in mind.

I'm from the far sleepier burg of Canberra, the "capital city that's not really a capital", in that big acts and events don't often come here because for a capital city we're rather small, like 350,000 people or thereabouts. Canberra's about a 4 hour drive south of Sydney. Anyway I'm a pretty sleepy burg myself, so I'm not bothered. Cool I'll definitely keep you in mind for a chat, but as of.......about one hour from now I'm off to spend a couple days camping and away from the daily grind. I keep hoping for some kind of Blair Witch-type scenario to present itself, but so far all i've encountered is some foul weather, and a rather obnoxious possum with extremely sharp claws. Oh well, fingers crossed!

Your name is Judge?

Sorry...couldn't resist the Arrested Development reference.....though I doubt it aired in Australia.

And I thought I was the one with the time differences thing, being on the East coast.  lol.  Laughing at ones humor is nothing to be ashamed of when it's funny.  *thumbs up*

I love things australian!

Great white sharks, sea snakes, deadly spiders, and those cuddly salt water crocs.  You guys have deadly jellyfish too, right.  fun stuff.

And Wolf Creek was one of the newer murder movies that I liked.  That dude was such a bastard with a nice grin.  And I did find myself rooting for that dark-haired girl to survive, but oh well . . .

RIGHT RIGHT....I knew that.  I knew that when you said you might be at one of the August cons.  Right.  No offense meant.

Point of fact the whole time difference thing just seems more apparent to me because I keep an ossuary window open on my firefox.  So I guess you could say it's kind of my own fault.  lol.

yeah -- I'm east coast too

right smack dab between the blue ridge mountains and the deep blue sea.  birthplace of Poe.

Blue Ridge mountains are some of the oldest mountains on the planet.  John Denver even said, "Life is old there"  Well John old buddy -- death is old there too.

it's cool

both states lay claim to him.

Kinda like stonewall Jackson.  he's buried in Lexington -- his arm's buried near Fredericksburg.  Has it's own shrine.

Baltimore gets Poe's body -- but we get to keep his ghost.

Yep we got deadly jellyfish too, they jump right out of the water, wrap their tentacles around your throat and pull you right off the boats...they eat like, 40 tourists a year on average.

Wolf Creek was good, but here's a piece of trivia that'll explain why i had a giggle at it: the bad guy you're referring to, before starring in Wolf Creek was a regular on the childrens program Play School that i used to watch in my kindergarten days :)

There's a movie there, itching to be written.  It'd end up airing on the scifi channel.  I can just see it.
