I don't know if this would be the right section for this topic but I thought it was interesting. It's a list of 58 sequels that are in various stages of pre-production.

I'd think it fits as they are the continuations of what are becoming franchises.  True, most arent horror but its still interesting.  I'm not interested in most though.  Scary Movie 5, Saw 5, maybe Final Destination 4, Descent 2 are on my list.  However, they better come up with something crazy to get me in to see Ring 3.  I liked Ring 2 a lot, but I agree with the poster's feeling on the subject.  And Jeepers Creepers is a great great film.  It's sequel was awful so why are they doing it again?  Oh, and he forgot one.  Coming soon to a video store shelf near you....

Even though The Descent 2 and Joy Ride 2 have no chance of being anywhere near as good as the originals, I'm still excited to see them. It bothers me that Point Break 2, Robocop, and I Am Legend 2 are being made. The Thomas Crown Affair 2 interests me because of Paul Verhoeven's involvement. I doubt Jurassic Park IV will be any good, but I still want to see it. Superman: Man of Steel should be good if they include more action than the last movie. And finally, I will go see just about anything with Stallone in it, especially since he started making good movies again.

 I agree whole heartily except with Jeepers Creepers, the first one was awful. I loved the second one. I love the Creeper not as much as Freddie.

I was almost afraid to admit that very same sentence to any one. The last Rambo was insane. This is coming from someone who's not a big Stallone fan much less fuckin Rambo.
