Of all the horror my wife has sat through with me, Child's Play is the one movie she won't watch.

The original really scared her. I just always loved it. Now, it's not as awesome, but being 10 it was pretty cool.

I have enjoyed the humor injected into the series, but didn't love them.

What do you guys think?

Yeah I'll watch the first three, the ones after that just got really silly, and it felt more like Scary Movie than a horror film.  I thought the first two films had some great POV shots from the doll's perspective that built up that tension that we first witnessed in Jaws.  Another strength of the early films were established motive and explanation of coming back, so I have to give it props on originality and a somewhat well though storyline.  In the end I think I'm with you, it was great when I was kid, especially since I had a My Buddy doll which is what the Good Guy doll in the film is based off of, the movie had a stronger effect on me as a child (they sure came up with some crazy toys in the 80s) but it is hard to take the film serious most of the time.

I love them all, Child's play to Seed of Chucky.

I own them all as well, an I even have Tiffany (The Doll).

I love these movies because they are original.

Honestly when I was little I remember waking up one morning

and getting yelled at by my mom because all of my dolls(exactly 75)

were laying all over in the hall way.

I threw them out before I went to bed haha.

But now when I feel like laughing Iput one of them on.

Yeah they are childhood fears, it's the closest thing I had to a good child hood.

That is true and very creepy to say.
