Friday the 13th is one of the best franchises with one of the best villains! Sure, this one went terribly and horribly wrong in later episodes... but I am willing to overlook that when I see Jason break a man in half.

I liked:

Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th Part 2

Friday the 13th Part 3 (yes, I did like this one... even with the goofy stoners)

Jason Lives (The Sherrif is broken in half backward... very cool!)

 I even liked...

Freddy vs. Jason

Question though... why did Jason (and Jason's mother) feel the need to throw the dead bodies through windows and hang them from doorways and trees to swing forward at just the right moment? That part is a bit strange...

To answer your question about the dead bodies popping up at all those convenient times. It was all to show the futility of the nubile young lovelies trying to escape and that they were next. Mwahhhhh haaa hhhhaaaaaa.

Is knowing the other half?  heh....

Incidentally, that's a really really good answer.

As stupid as it was, I still liked Jason Takes Manhattan-- a few good killings and loads of laughs.
