All right, what horror movie had you laughing, and you knew that wasn't the intended reaction. I'd say Plan 9 from Outer Space but that'd be too easy. So I'm going to go with Zombie Birds, anyone else?

Funniest Horror Movie

The funniest horror movie moment that I have experienced was the Exorcist. The part where Linda Blair has projectile pea green vomit on the priest. I know this movie was not intended to be humors but I laughed my ass off during that scene and the majority of the movie.
Easy. The Happening. I honestly dont think M. Night was going for one of the best comedies of the year, but boy did he nail that.....

Must agree with you on this one.
Yet another one we went to the theater to see. It was kinda cool when they killed the 2 brats though!
The only other one that pops into mind right of the bat is Evil Dead, when the forest rapes the girl I laughed my ASS off!

Saw it in a theater in NYC....I've never seen a stadium-theater seating theater laugh as one at a film like that. lol
I love Jeepers Creepers, but that scene whre the kid is saying, "just hold my ankles while a hang down this pipe" --funny as hell. Yeah--I just watched this guy tossing bodies down there--let me hang down for a look.

Yes that was freaking hilarious.
Bride of Chucky
"I wouldn't marry you if you had the body of G.I. Joe"
"Hey Raggedy Ann, have you looked in the mirror lately, nows not the time to get picky."
Also
Chucky playing with a toy.....
(Spell woman)
BITCH.
"I'm sorry the correct spelling is W..O..M..)
"Psh, shows how much you know.."
The Leprechaun movies as well. He is funny period!
"A friend with weed is a friend indeed"
Funny I've had a black light poster on my wall that says that for two years.
Watched the moive and now I know the TRUE meaning of that statement Tehe :)
The funniest horror movie I've seen has to be Scream Pretty Peggy. Donald from 'That Girl' (Ted Bessell) is the male lead and the girl who plays Peggy has a unibrow. It's worth a rent just for the laughs.
Stir of Echoes. I spent 2/3 of that movie laughing my ass off in a crowded theatre getting really annoyed looks from people. It's goddamn hilarious.
This doesn't count exactly cause they knew how campy it was, but Santa's Slay is a personal favorite.
I thought Army OF Darkness was funny and a great classic...I like when he says ( This is my BOOMSTICK)
Bruce Campbell was great in it....:)

That is easily the most unintentionally funny horror movie ever.
The Dead Next Door by far. It has everything. Cheese, bad script, gore, a ridiculous concept and an A-Team knock off :P

But what about the bees, darkstar. Doesn't anyone care about the bees?

Not when Marky Mark is their advocate. Or Zooey Deschanel. I have never seen two people who were more untalented in my life.
If you guys can find it. Definately check out Haunted Cop Shop parts 1 and 2 from Hong Kong. A very funny and also scary horror movie about ghosts and vampires. Pretty ingenious script and hilarious acting. Like many 80's films, it's both funny or scary depending on what you want. The dvd's should english subs. I also found Mr. Vampire quite funny too.
As for Western horror.. Fright Night was pretty witty. Return of the Living Dead, Evil Dead 2, Dead Alive (not really a western since it's from new zealand). ZombieLand and Shaun were pretty funny too. Does ghostbusters count as horror? haha

I agree with your selections, but have you got any that were funny that you KNEW werent supposed to be?
Mulberry Street from Horrorfest a few years ago. What a freaking hysterical movie. It's the rats!
Paranormal Activity was the funniest one I've seen recently. My son and I saw it in a packed theater, and we had as much fun laughing at the crowd as we did at the movie. There were people there who were genuinely terrified by that movie. When Katie screamed the first time and Micah rushed to pick up the camera before going to help her, I nearly fell out of my seat laughing.

I'm going to agree with you! I watched Paranormal Activity with my mother. I didn't peg her for someone who has a dark humor anyway...The scene where the demon pulls Katie down the stairs is hilarious. I mean we don't see her being pulled all the way down. It's just "AHHHHHHHHHHHH" Thump Thump Thump! My mother and I just couldn't control ourselves, we had tears we laughed so hard!
Also I'm positive it was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre if not then some movie with a huge guy carrying a chainsaw. Anyway he's chasing after the girl and he slips in the blood and his chainsaw goes flying in the air Haha! And then falls back down and slices him. That one scene really had me laughing!
