Just read a few articles about the remake of Stephen King's IT. Guess its supposed to be an R rated type film. Sounds interesting. Hopefully this one follows the novel more closely, which would be truly scary on screen. I do wonder how anyone could match Tim Curry's performance of Pennywise though? Any thoughts?

IT Remake

The only way to make this movie even better would be to use the man himself, I would still watch it, it is after all a Stephen King film....
hmmm. interesting. This was the Best Made for Tv Movie. not sure how well the story can be told in 2 hrs
Sounds like a good idea to me. I definitely think it's possible to outperform Tim Curry. I never would've thought that Heath Ledger out of all people would be a good Joker and he happened to be the best out of everyone.
What? A remake? Ok. Now this has gone too far!! You can't remake IT!!!

you have to understand hollywood is full of tools these days and re-makes are all the rage... between all these remakes and the twilight saga I kinda wanna shoot myself in the face.
as for the IT remake... once again I wanna shoot myself in the face. I myself like Tim Curry, he's so... different, but nevermind that, IT was the movie that made me walk in the middle of the street instead of in the gutter! but, as with most remakes, whether it turns out better than expected or not it still can't compare to the original...

Recently, I saw an headline over on Fark saying that Paramount was going to do a sequel to Paranormal Activity if it made sense. The headline made it a point to say that, though it didnt really make sense to do it, "given Hollywood's tendency to rape corpses, it'll happen." That about covers all I have to say about just about any movie getting remade right about now.
Do we have any links to these articles on the remake of IT?
