Well, I saw Otis last night and I liked it. It wasn't GREAT (it dragged on a bit), but it was quirky and Otis was definitely creepy!  I love Ileanna Douglas; I think she made the movie.  The son was a hoot, too.  I got a little bored towards the end, but all in all, it was pretty good.  A new take on revenge from Last House on the Left, but more comedic.

Another funny comedy horror is Black Sheep; The Violence of the Lambs...if you haven't seen that one, it's a must see.

Happy Weekend!!

I was wondering about Otis - the trailers look really good and they sure are promoting the hell out of it. I'm gonna watch it too... and try and make it through the "dragging parts".

I also second the motion of Black Sheep - I LOVE that one! Wrote a review of it Here.

I watched Otis last night.  I liked it as well.  No spoilers but the "mistake" is great.  and the movie has many funny lines.

And Nan, you shouldn't say such things about Otis -- he's just misunderstood.  Or as Warren Zevon would say (boy I miss him) "he was just an excitable boy"

To those who have seen it: How big is Daniel Stern's role in the movie? I'm a fan of his and this is his first horror film since the 80's. Also, was his acting any good in it?

You must be referring to CHUD.

Yeah his role is big -- acting decent.
