No love for Public Enemies here? Come on people, among most of the woeful shit that passes for "cinema" these days I thought Public Enemies shone like a lighthouse in the fog. Seeing big time Hollywood heavyweights like Michael Mann still crafting fine films with a genuine love for the art form rather than succumbing to the Michael Bay school of "let's blow shit up!!" really impresses me. It's movies like this one that make me remain unafraid to fork out my hard-earned beans on tickets.

I wanted to see this, but the $9.50 movie tickets caused me to wait til DVD. I'll see it and I am happy as well that we can get treated to films like this.

Fuck Michael Bay and Fuck Transformers!
