I think the Puppet Master franchise should definately be on this list. There's been like 9 movies.  I liked the first couple movies. They scared the hell out of me. Killer doll movies have to be like the scariest movies ever. Especailly when there's more than one and they all stick together. In the first movie, the dolls revolt against their master when he hurts one of them. That's teamwork. I know these movies are old but they should be up there with freddy and chucky. I also think it would be pretty kool to remake them...awesome!!!

Without a doubt the "Puppet Master" franchise should definetly receive the utmost recognition. It created a genre for indie horror, and  gave franchise new meaning

I loved these films growing up.

I watched a lot of Full Moon productions.

Charles Band had a thing for the toys.

One of my favorite Charles Band films was "Dolls".

They were far more frightening as a kid.

Now I watch them and think they are fun.

Six Shooter is a great addition to the series!

Full Moon and Troma were battling for years as the independent studios.

I am hoping that Full Moon can come back, as we always have room for more puppets killing!

Full Moon's still around you know.  To my knowledge they have a Puppet Master boxset.  They sell all their companies movies over at the Full Moon Direct site.

And I'll always be a fan of a movie that claims a puppet the size of my ankle and foot can beat the shit out of people, spit leeches up onto their chests, or slice and dice with blade hands.  Great movie.

(It made me sad a few weeks ago, someone at my work at lunch was talking about Puppet Master and I overheard them.  I tried to jump in the conversatino and I mentioned the leech spitter....for some reason she didn't remember that puppet and made me look like an idiot as a result.  lol)

Sounds like someone needs to have a Puppet Master movie night. Who could forget Ms. Leech?

I heart Blade. He was my favorite puppet. Whoever came up with bullet for eyes idea was insanely genius.

There's another thread about remakes and Puppet Master may be a good one to do.  The stop motion used for the original is quaint.
