I have troubles with your editor in all my browsers--although different browsers seem to have different problems. In my Mozilla-based browsers (Firefox, Flock), carriage returns display properly in the editor, but are removed when I post. This happens no matter how many carriage returns I try to put between paragraphs. The only way to get separation between my paragraphs is by using Enter-Period Key-Enter which, obviously, displays a period between paragraphs:

.

I've noticed that some other users are having this same problem when they post, as their posts are missing any separation between paragraphs.

.

In my Opera browser, which I generally prefer, the problem is much weirder: a carriage return at the end of the line causes the (entire) paragraph I've been typing to advance down the page and the cursor to return to the beginning of the line I'm currently on, which is now blank. In other words, the cursor ends up above the paragraph I was just typing and there's no way for me to get it below it in order to type the next paragraph.

.

I frequent several other sites with web-based editors and I don't have these problems with any of them, so I'm led to believe this must be a problem with your site software rather than with my browsers. I can't stand Internet Explorer, so don't even suggest I use it (which I can't easily do anyway, as I run Linux, not Windows) Smile

I'm not going to suggest IE, but as of this second that is the only browser that doesn't have this trouble. This is something that I'm working on - thanks for bringing this to the forefront of my attention.
