So, there is a place for all of you to submit reviews of your own on the Movie Reviews page of BHM. Sometimes, though, the reviewer may not want to write an entire article but just a short bit of thought and commentary  Perhaps you are nervous about putting an article out there right away and you would rather dip your toe in the waters of reviewing and see what kind of reactions you get.  This is the place to try your hand at writing for Best-Horror-Movies.com!

Give us your thoughts on the movie you just saw or that classic horror flick that came up yet again.

After 4 years of anticipation I finally located Dario Argento's Suspiria. WOW! An amazing film and moved its way into my top ten. Being a big dark shadows fan it was nice to see Joan Bennett. Whatever the movie lacked in story, acting or wahtever else, the visual style made up for it. And the music is awesome too. I keep humming that little jingle in my head. After seeing this, I can see Argento's imprint on other films and filmmakers since. Great flick! It had me squirming at some points and I can honestly say that i reacted more to this film than just about any other I've seen in the last ten years, with a few exceptions of course. If you haven't seen it, it's a must see!

After loving Suspiria so much, I had to track down Inferno and Mother of Tears. They were both good, but not as good as Suspiria. The colors in Inferno were beautiful yet again, but I had trouble following the story. Things were happening that just did not make sense and no answers came at the end to set these matters straight. Hopefully after a few more watches I'll pick up something I missed. I had one big issue at the end when the architect speaks through the speakers, and asks the hero to come closer s o he could whsiper. seems to me that do hear a dude whisper who has to speak through speakers, wouldn't you get closer to the speakers as opposed to the man speaking? There was an absolute mind blowing and flawless special effect at the end that I've found out was executed by Mario Bava when Mater Tenebrarum transforms into death. Awesome effect.

Mother of Tears I enjoyed better than Inferno. The colors were a little lacking this time around and the film was very enjoyable all around. Not a classic, but good. Plus, Asia Argento. I've had a huge Hollywood crush on her for years so my liking of the film may have something to do with her presence.

I recommend both of these films.

Totally love Suspiria, definitely one of the best use of colors in any film, horror or not. Have not watched anything else by Argento though, which is rather sad.
