In the United States alone, an estimated 28 to 35 million Hispanics have grown up with stories of La Llorona, with this vengeful ghost considered by many to be the Latino world’s “best kept secret.” The majority of these “believers” are located in California, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Illinois. I love horror movies. Especially the bad ones. My first experience with horror, was when I "accidentally" caught a glimpse of Stephen King’s It when I was five or six (see review) and although it took me a while, I gradually watched more and more horror movies over time even to the point of renting the crappiest, rarest B horror movies to watch (Night Brings Charlie, The Other Hell, Invitation To Hell, Nail Gun Massacre, etc.....real crap!). You could say I'm kind of a movie nerd at heart. Ask me about a horror movie, chances are I've seen it. My horror collection just keeps growing and growing. Other than that, I like to sleep all day, party all night. I like to visit haunted places in my free time and freak out my friends - though sometimes that does backfire on me.
